OurMadrasah

An end-to-end platform being built to help masājid, marākiz and Islamic educational organisations establish, run and continuously improve children’s madrasahs.

An organisation can arrive at any stage: with only the intention to open, with a small class that needs structure, or with hundreds of pupils and inconsistent systems.

Establishing a madrasah

A guided pathway from intention to opening day: feasibility, governance, premises, safeguarding and safer recruitment, staffing, policies, admissions and a pre-launch check. Each step shows what remains, who owns it and what evidence is needed.

Running it day to day

Pupils and families, classes and attendance, staff and volunteers, fees, incidents and welfare, documents and communication with parents. One place, with access limited to what each role needs.

Curriculum and teaching

A sequenced programme across Qāʿidah, Qurʾān, Tajwīd, Islamic Studies and Arabic. Each step links to teacher guidance and approved resources, so a teacher knows what to teach, how to teach it and what comes next. Training helps knowledgeable volunteers develop the craft of teaching children.

Assessment and improvement

Progress judged by evidence, not by pages completed. Baselines, regular checks and support for pupils who need it, with clear reports for parents and the oversight leaders need to decide what to improve next.

Governed by the deen

Sources, materials and practices follow an explicit review framework, and specialist matters go to people of knowledge and qualified professionals. Technology makes the work easier. It does not replace scholarly, safeguarding or professional judgement.
